Abstract:
A Project Portfolio is a collection of projects, programs and operations aligned to deliver strategic benefit. The main purpose of this thesis is to find a bridge between the two disciplines of Business Analysis and Project Portfolio Management to help project portfolio managers to make strategic investment decisions by leveraging Business Analysis. This thesis focuses on integrating portfolio management and business analysis to maximize the value of the portfolio, understand the risks of the various projects in the portfolio, and selecting only projects linked with the organization's strategy.
