Abstract:
The small businessman of today is a very distinct person. He is one whose success or failure is due primarily to his ability to manage those assets which he has available. The proper management of those resources requires a competent knowledge of the various functions which are required in a business. Among those functions are marketing, finance, accounting and personnel. Other skills may be required such as engineering and manufacturing depending on the business engaged in.
