Abstract

The principal thrust of this paper is directed toward examining the organizational structure known as the task force. Findings reveal this structure to posess a high degree of efficiency when directed toward complex and non-repititive tasks. Behavoral indicators reveal a high level of job satisfaction, a, low level of interpersonal stress and relatively high morale and esprit de corps. Specific situational, resourse and task criteria also appear to have significant influence on success.
