Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to suggest a methodology, based on PERT-oriented Management Information Systems, which will explicitly relate the three program variables of TIME, COST, and PERFORMANCE, and increase the utility of the integrated management and engineering information system through all levels of the organization. The orientation of the paper is that of a student of management of research and development activities concerned with improving presently available program control techniques, and in particular, the human communication aspects of such management information systems.
