Description

This is the Spring 1968 issue of the UB Quarterly, Vol. 2 No. 1 issue with several stories on the arts at the University. One guest, Robert Rauschenberg, visited the campus. He is an American painter and multi-media artist, whose work has been associated with numerous mid-20th century art movements. One article titled "The Future of Arts and Humanities on the UB Campus" seeks to illustrate the direction of the arts on campus and the development of facilities for artistic exhibition, with the new facility for Arts and Humanities to be named after Arnold Bernhard, a trustee of the University. Another article featured in this issue is regarding the issue of marijuana and the impact it has on society, titled "Why Marihuana?" by Dr. Donald W. Wolk.
