Abstract
The advent of the mini-computer and many complete software packages has had a profound impact on the acceptance of the computer by small businesses. Unfortunately, most software packages are designed to serve an accounting function. This study will examine an applications programming package and demonstrate how to enhance such a system to aid the management decision-making process.
