Abstract

This thesis attempts to judge the future of the stock brokerage business. Subjective and objective information has been collected to explain the changes in the investment industry. The information is based on financial publications, brokerage firms, news letters and responses to information gathering. The future structure of the brokerage business will depend on many different factors, but the ultimate shape may not be as drastically different as some people have predicted or as fast in evolving.
