On April 12, 1967, popular author Hans Holzer gave a convocation address in the Social Room of the Student Center. Holzer regularly wrote books on paranormal phenomena that were widely popular with the public. Over 1200 people attended his talk. His visit was reported in the April 13, 1967 edition of the Scribe. Mr Holzer wrote more than 120 books on supernatural and occult subjects for the the popular market, wrote several plays and screenplays as well as provided material for documentaries, and hosted a television show called Ghost Hunter.
