Description
This is the booklet and invite for the First Annual Charter Day Dinner sponsored by the Board of Associates at the University. It took place on May 12, 1954, in the Grand Ballroom of the Stratfield Hotel. Dr. David D. Henry, Executive Vice Chancellor of New York University gave a talk titled "Urban Universitites: Their Opportunities and Responsibilities." Harold C. Main, President Board of Associates presided during the dinner. Dr. Helen M. scurr received a distinguished teaching award during the event.
