Reported in the April 27, 1971 issue of the Scribe, Fmr. Marine Col. and Astronaut, John H. Glenn stopped by the University of Bridgeport and addressed a large gathering of mostly members of the public in the Great Room of the Student Center. Only a few members of the student body attended the talk titled "America Today" by Col. Glenn. He addressed several issues and commented on his distates for the America Love it or Leave it mentality that was rported in the media, preferring to consider his own philosophy of "America Love It and Help Make It Better." The image is a stock publicity phot as a separate b&w photo could not be found.
