Abstract

A new synchronization system to be used in a Time Division Multiplexed Pulse Position Modulation (TDM PPM) receiver is represented in this paper. Multiplexed synchronized pulses are being detected by a Digital Phase Locked Loop (DPLL) to obtain the proper phase angle and signal sequence at the receiver. The properties of the circuits are investigated and the expression of the probability to obtain phase lock is derived.
