This is the 1966 edition or yearbook of Genesis. Genesis reflects the contributions of students engaged with the Pre-College Science Center at the University of Bridgeport. The program is funded by grants that enable gifted high-school students to attend a summer-based seven-week program that will engage the students in the fields of space science, astronomy, geology, biology, and mathematics. "This yearbook is dedicated to all those who have worked so hard, to make the Pre-College Science Center as great a program as it is."
The editor in chief was Richard Reiben, and the remaining editorial staff included Karen Mrozek, Glenn Frazer, Richard Goldbaum, Taylor Vincent, Werner Eldenschink. the advisor was Jo-Ann Kearne.
the initial program commenced in 1959 and was only open to male High School students, however in 1960 the administration of the event decided to make it co-educational. Another development took place in 1961 which opened the program up to students from throughout the United States.
