This study proposes a decision model for Data Security Strategy supporting risk management of ransomware. Ransomware is an emerging threat targeting valuable sensitive information inside enterprise networks. The attack either encrypts all data and backups with strong algorisms or exfiltrates for exposure in order to ransom the victims.
