Abstract
As part of a newly developed course supported by the National Science Foundation, a group of undergraduate (sophomore) students have spent two semesterscollecting EEG data from subjects using the iWorx IX-TA kit. The group also learned how to work in teams and with a graduate student who advised them about research methodologies. Starting research so early in undergraduate studies is challenging as well as rewarding. Students actively participated in weekly classes learning about literature search, hardware, software, and group discussions about research ideas and designs. As of now, data from only two subjects have been collected. We have analyzed the data in time, frequency and power domain.
