Abstract
This study formalized the best return (one year) prospects among the seven leaders in the packaged foods industry. The fundamental analysis includes economy and industry projections coupled with individual company earnings/risk evaluations. Ratio analysis supports financial position assessments. This thesis provides an analytical framework into which new data can be entered and identifies relative earnings estimates for investors interested in this particular market group.
