Energy Consumption and Reduction in Cryptocurrency

Abstract

Proof of Work Cryptocurrencies struggle in the modern world because of their tremendous energy output. To remedy this, it is suggested that green energy be converted to in order to provide cleaner energy, or switch to a less energy intensive validation mechanism, such as proof of stake, to cut this enormous energy output.
