Abstract
The aerospace industry has developed many unique characteristics that separate it distinctly from non-aerospace companies. These differences are such that it requires extensive management planning in order for one industry to be successful in the other's market place. This thesis delineates the areas of concern that require management understanding and decision making that results in a typical business plan. The business plan can be used as a guide for those aerospace firms considering diversification.
