Description
In 1965, Mohammed El Fasi, the Rector of Moroccan Universitites, visited the UB Campus to receive an honorary doctor of laws degree during the Winter commencement. He also cited the need for aid to developing countries which would benefit world peace by assisting with their development and preventing strife leading to instabilty that could threaten global peace. Mr. El Fasi was regarded as an internationalist and worked to establish understanding between the developed world and those countries that needed assistance.
