Abstract

A drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or unmanned aircraft system. It is essentially a flying robot this is controlled remotely or can fly autonomously with software-controlled flight plans. This project explored the ideas of drone system design that can improve drone efficiency through a light and strong frame and an appropriate selection of propellers, motors and battery. This project aims to design a light and strong 3D printed frame through CAD modeling, structural simulation and design optimization using Solidworks.
