This paper details the analysis of wage structure in the steel industry and the affect that unionization has had on wages and wage differentials over the years. Numerous writers have analyzed labor unions in relation to wage differentials and this material, along with additional statistics and evaluating methods, are included in this study, The implications of these changes, the phenomenal growth, and a view of the probable future of labor unions, comprises this report.
