Abstract

For this poster we will propose the generation of power using solar technology and seek to maximize this stored power through solar tracking. With rising electricity costs, renewable alternatives are being sought out such as solar panels. While solar panels may offer an alternative method of power generation, their often-large nature makes them undesirable for common households, often being placed directly onto roofs, this can lead to issues down the line such as repairs for roofs or moving out, as the solar panels are often under contract and these contracts are passed onto the new homeowner. The goal is to downsize and offer an alternative to conventional rectangular panels.
