Abstract
Discrete Event and Hybrid Systems modeling has been used extensively in automation, robotics, and manufacturing appilications. Different frameworks for dynamic supervisory controllers are used in flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) and automated processes. This article presents an overview of some existing strategies that are used to control systems in real-time based on sensory data.
