Description
In 1985, Stephen Sondheim visited the UB Campus as he was honored at the Mertens Contemporary Composer's Festival from February 21 - March 4. This is a group of photographs by Corbit's Studio in Bridgeport taken during this period. It illustrates his interaction with students and faculty reflected in the images of Mr. Sondheim. In the 2nd photo Mr. Sondheim has Clara Mertens on his right and the cast of "Side By Side by Sondheim." The faculty photo includes from left, Dr. Robert Regan, Dr. Langdon Brown, Matt Conley, Mr. Sondheim & Henry Aaron, musical director of the event. The events were held and performed at the Bernhard Center.
