Abstract
Management by Objectives evolved from the previously employed management techniques to meet the needs of contemporary management in our highly complex technological and economic environment. This thesis deals with the application of this theory of management to the lower levels of the managerial hierarchy. The theoretical aspects of the application are covered along with the problems encountered in practice. In conclusion, possible methods of overcoming the problems in practice are suggested and discussed in some detail.
