Description

Two items are included, one, an article from the Scribe, Jan. 12, 1961 titled "Dickason Tells How Thunder Got Its name." The other is a publication titled "The Thunderbolt" by the Knights of Thunder Incorporated. The first item relates how in 1947 on a rainy night when Al dickason was completing the final details on the Junior College Of Connecticut's first musical production was readied for publication, a clap of thunder reverberated and thus the name was bestowed on the production group. The 2nd item is a publication by the Campus Thunder supporters, published an in-house newsletter about the goings-on of the Campus thunder production group.
