This is the Health Sciences Commencement Ceremony booklet. The commencment speaker and Honorary Degree recipient was the Honorable Marilyn Moore, State Senator of the 22nd District in connecticut serving the communities of Trumbull, and sections of Bridgeport and Monroe CT. At the time, she was the chair of the Human Services Committee, and vice-chair of the Enviroment Committee. Ms. Moore has been a force for health equity, living wages, and an advocate for protecting many Connecticut communities.
