Description
A quieter time for the UB Campus in July with only five issues of the Bulletin published from 7/1 to 7/30. UB's new Carriage House Cabaret opened with an evening of "Words and Music of Stephen Sondheim." Throughout the month many different performances and offerings by Anthony Newly and Lerner & Lowe took place at the Carriage House Cabaret. The Shakespeare Institute announced its summer '74 program with most event offered freely. It was announced that a conference titled "Women in Writing" sponsored by NOW (the National Organization for Women" will take place at UB August 2-4. Novelists Sharon Spencer and Maude Hutchens, playwright Megan Terry, and children's author Ann McGovern are among those speaking at the conference.
