Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly advancing, with its capabilities approaching human-like cognitive functions in certain domains. However, despite its growing intelligence, AI often functions as a "fifth wheel” present in decision making processes but not fully integrated or trusted as an independent entity. This study explores the role of an AI with an estimated IQ of 105, positioning it within the threshold of human intelligence but still lacking creativity, emotional depth, and true autonomy. (Korteling et al., 2021). While such an AI may outperform humans in pattern recognition and data analysis, its inability to navigate complex social dynamics and abstract reasoning limits its role to an advanced support tool rather than a true decision-maker.
