The main aim of this research was to provide a comparative analysis of how Nepal and the U.S. prevent, respond to, and compensate wrongful convictions in order to propose context-specific measures that strengthen due process and human rights protections in both countries. Specifically, I analyzed the legal framework, causes of wrongful conviction, and post-conviction outcomes in each country.
