Abstract
Prior employment with the International Division of Pitney Bowes, Inc., led to my initial interest in Brazil, as a country and a source of business involvement. The opportunity to travel and work in Brazil confirmed my belief that increasing trade relations with the United States is a certainty in the coming years. As American firms continue to invest in the Brazilian economy a better understanding of the business and political environment is a necessity.
