Description
This is the April 17, 2003 issue of the Scribe, Vol. 10 No. 13. the biggest story is the front page article illustrating financail difficulties with the University resulting in a spending freeze as of April 3. "A memo stated that the school was projecting a shortfall in tuition revenue for the current fiscal year." It was indicated that the spending freeze would require all expenditures to be re-authorized pending a review and include equipment purchases, travel, and purchase orders. In brighter news the UB Women's Gymnastic team will be heading to the United States Gymnastics Association (USGA) National Championship in Texas. Only the top eight teams are invited, the UB women are ranked #8.
