Abstract
This project introduced a new idea for using solar energy with a solar panel window frame that supplies electricity to a battery for low-cost bills and/or emergencies situations. These window frames are combined with regular window blinds and solar panels, allowing homes and businesses to collect solar energy while appealing and retaining functionality. During normal use, the blinds generate electricity that is stored in a battery as a reserve for power outages or other emergencies. Integrating the blinds into a frame allows panels for positioning in a wider-range orientation, maximizing solar energy production. This project also looked at the cost-effectiveness and environmental benefits of using solar panel blinds, showing how they can help people rely less on conventional power sources. The objective of this project is to demonstrate an accessible solution that proves solar panel blinds are a capable way to enhance energy independence and promote sustainability.
