Description
A busy month for February 1973 with eight issues of the UB Bulletin produced from 2/1 to 2/27 and one issue of Professional Activities highlighting the promotions and awards or speaking engagements of UB faculty and staff. Several events honoring Argentine students and artisits took place with a reception for the students on 2/6 and a showcase of Argentine Artists for the Argentine Fiesta on 2/11 at the Bernhard Center Tower Room. Julian Barry, playwright of the production Lenny, about comic Lenny Bruce, will speak at the Arts & Sciences Inter-Disciplinary Honors Seminar on 2/27 about Mr. Bruce. The tributes for UN Athletic Teams continued with both alumni and the city honoring the team at a banquet with messages from President Nixon and Gov. Meskill and the UB Soccer team also lauded for its accomplishments in early February.
