The University of Bridgeport Fifty-Seventh Commencement brochure. Honorary degrees were conferred to Chung-Ming Wong, James Herron Halsey former Chancellor of the University of Bridgeport, Joseph Verner Reed, Henry Wilson Littlefield former President of the University of Bridgeport, John Arthur Rassias, and Hubert Horatio Humphrey former Vice President of the United States. The commencment address was given by former Senator and Vice President Humphrey.
