Abstract
This study develops initial framework in Design Management (DM) for New Product Development (NPD) using Agent-Based Modeling (ABM). This is a novel approach in DM where the participants in the design process are treated as autonomous agents and their actions and interactions are simulated to gain an understanding on their effect on the process as a whole.
