Description
As the semester come to a close, activities at UB continued at a high pace. Seven issues of the UB Bulletin were published with one issue of Professional Activities. The Alumni Reunion took place on May 4th featuring an alunmi vs. varsity soccer game. A one-day conference titled "Women and the World of Work" took place on May 11 featuring 60 workshops. Over 500 women attended the conference illustrating the University's leading edge of women's empowerment. The New england Contemporary Ensemble concert directed and conducted by Richard Moryl was held at the Recital Hall in the Arnold Berhard Center. The Dana Scholar's Banquet was held on 5/17 in the private dining room of the student center. Finally, former Secretary of the Interior, Stuart Udall was the featured speaker at the 63rd Commencement exercises. on May 26.
