In commemoration of the The Thirty-second Anniversary of the Founding of the Junior College of Connecticut and the Twelfth Anniversary of the Founding of the University of Bridgeport., this event took place on May 20, 1959. It also honored Charles Anderson Dana. The convocation took place at 1:30pm at the university gymnasium.
