Abstract

A company's Annual Report is one of its most important for telling the public about itself. However, over the past few years, there has been much controversy regarding the usefulness of the Annual Report. By looking at the Annual Report in detail, it can be seen that the Report contains financial information for "small investors." On the other hand, it lacks the financial data for the "big investor." Overall, the Annual Report is more of an advertising and promotional publication than a financial tool.
