Abstract

Luteolin and apigenin contents in the solid dosage form of dietary supplements were analyzed simultaneously using reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) with a photodiode array (PDA) detector. A C18 column was used as the packing material in the HPLC column, with tetrahydrofuran and isopropanol (70:30:5) employed as the mobile phase. Detection was carried out at a wavelength of 360 nm using PDA detection. The recovery of the method ranged from 96.5% to 101.9%, and the assay demonstrated linearity at concentrations ranging from 5 to 250 µg/mL, with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.9998. This robust analytical method is suitable for use in quality control laboratories for the simultaneous analysis of luteolin and apigenin in solid dosage formulations of dietary supplements.
