Abstract

Federally administered Tribal Areas (FATA) include seven agencies and six Frontier Regions, and are bordered by the Durand line and Afghanistan to the west, by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province to the north and east, and by Balochistan province to the south. Since the creation of Pakistan, North Waziristan and the rest of the Tribal Areas have been neglected and under-developed, and their residents do not enjoy key human rights protections under Pakistani and international law. The use of drones, for surveillance and so-called targeted killings by the USA have fast become among the most controversial human rights issues in the world. In no place is this more apparent than in Pakistan. Since innocent people are badly suffering in consequence to Drones.
