The Scribe dated April 28, 1988, Vol. 7. No. 21, has a cover story of UB winning the American Advertising Federation's Northeast Regional Student Competition. However, it was the reaction by the faculty on the Basic Studies Division responding to the previous issue"s critique of that program that was engrossing. They took issue with the critique indicating that this program is a success and that the editorial should revisit several of its declarations.
