Description
Weylister Junior College was incorporated into the University of Bridgeport and was designated as a secretarial college. It was an Associate in Arts degree program offered by the University of Bridgeport. The University of Bridgeport acquired and merged with Weylister in either 1947 or 1948 depending on various historical records. The inclusion of Weylister and that of the fones Dental Hygiene School contributed to the institution's charter as a four-year university.
