Abstract

The importance of sensitivity in the design of any circuit is discussed in this thesis. The thesis include the detail discussion of sensitivity function of typical active filters, especially a multiple feedback active band pass filter whose sensitivity functions are derived. Also the effect of one pole rolloff model of the operational amplifier on the performance of multiple feedback and single feedback active band pass filter is discussed. Sensitivity functions are found to be low. These filters can be used for medium frequency and medium quality factor.
