Description
Thius group of nine UB bulletins was published in April with two issues of Professional Activities, from 4/2 - 4/30. The Fourth Annual Contemporary Composers Festival which started on March 30 continued to April 4 in honor of Alan Hovhaness, one of America's most frequently performed composers. A lecture by author and futurist Alvin Toffler took place on April 10 in the Mertens Theater titled "Work and Leisure in the Future Society." Toffler wrote "Future Shock," one of the most widely read and popular books from the early 70's. The 2nd annual Argentine Festival was scheduled for April 20. "Three Penny Opera" was preformed at the Mertens Theater on 4/25.
