Abstract

This study investigated how the size of a nursing home affected the residents' opportunities for self-disclosure and involvement in behavioral settings. Two groups of 15 Ss were chosen from a Large and a Small nursing home. The Self-Disclosure Questionnaire was administered to each group. Behavioral settings were observed in each home. No significant results in the degree of self-disclosure or in the involvement in behavioral settings were found between the two groups.
