Abstract

A hydroponic growing technique utilizes water with nutrition instead of soil to conserve resources as well as increase crop yield. The plant roots are fully submerged into rich nutrition flow, and the constant light supply will allow them to grow faster. The indoor hydroponic system had seen a large growth in the market lately due to the pandemic. The need for self-growing vegetables, as well as a more environmentally-friendly agricultural technique, is pushing technological advancement in hydroponic methods. One of the biggest obstacles for the consumer in investing in this type of system would be cost and maintainability. This prototype aimed to bring the cost of a fully modular hydroponic control system down, while still maintaining the same capability
