Abstract
This display is based on the undergraduate course, “History through Film.” Our purpose is to further the use of film and other visual sources in history teaching and research. With the rise of “Public History” and “Visual Anthropology,” Visual History (also termed Image History) is a new post-modern development, arising only in the late 20th century. It originated in Europe and developed rapidly in the United States, but remains still in its infancy in China. Maybe UB students would enjoy this, too!
