On February 1, 1978, illustrious director Otto Preminger, visited the UB campus for the Johnson-Mellon lecture series. Mr Preminger along with Village Voice Film Critic, Andrew Sarris joined together for an 8pm lecture in the Merten's Theater. Mr. Preminger also conducted a seminar in Recital Hall, open to the student body on directing techniques and along with Mr. Sarris offered commentary on Mr. Preminger's films as well as critiques on student films.
