This is the Winter 1968 issue of the Quarterly, Vol. 1, No. 4. The lead story in this issue of the Quarterly reports on a Conference held at the University on middle-sized cities with a focus on current urban issues. It was a two day conference held on January 16 & 17, sponsored in part with the City of Bridgeport. Senator Abraham A. Ribicoff of Connecticut gave the keynote address titled “The Middle-Sized City — Is It Obsolete?’’ It was recorded and broadcast across the state by Connecticut Educational TV.
