Description
This issue reports that Bridgeport Mayor Hugh C. Curran was conferred an honorary degree in a year-long observance of the University's 40th Anniversary. The Baird Foundation pledged $50K for the development of a Master's Program for the College of Nursing. A front page editorial ask's if UB's heart is functioning related to the lack of funding for the library due to the small amount allocated in long-range planning for the University's future.
